Can I pack the car with personal items?
We understand that when someone needs to move their car interstate, chances are they’ll also need to move the rest of their belongings. You can pack your car with personal items while it’s being moved, but doing so will come at an additional cost. There are also some conditions to be mindful of, such as ensuring that the driver’s foot compartment area is left clear and the driver’s seat is able to be moved back and forth. Otherwise, you’re generally encouraged to load up your boot and the area in the back of the car up to 80 kilos – just make sure that your load doesn’t go higher than window level.
How do I move a non-running or damaged car?
With damaged cars, it really depends on the type and extent of the damage. The best thing to do is send us a photo of your car and we’ll provide you with a quote. A non-running car will be able to be moved, but the cost of the service will vary depending on the issue with the car. If the problem with the car is a simple one such as a dead battery, we would recommend having that fixed because it will be cheaper than the cost of transporting a car in that condition.
Can someone else pick up my car at the destination?
They sure can. All you need to do is send us the nominated person’s full name (just as it appears on their licence) and contact number ahead of time. They’ll need to bring their licence with them when they come to pick up your car.
